What are penny stocks?

There are different types of penny stocks that trader talk about. Some considered penny stocks as any stocks that are currently trading below $5, some consider anything $2 as penny stocks. These stocks are trading on NYSE, NASDAQ or AMEX. However, there is one more kind of penny stocks that traders talk about. They are called the Over The Counter penny stocks. These stocks are not listed under NYSE, NASDAQ or AMEX. The over the counter market, also known as OTCBB (Over The Counter Market Bulletin Board) which is a regulated quotation service.

At buyhotpennystocks.org, you will find both OTCBB penny stocks and the penny stocks that are trading on NASDAQ or NYSE. However, OTCBB data is end of day data where as the other kind is updated every 15 minutes during intraday trading. If you are looking to buy penny stocks, you probably know how you as a penny stock investor can benefit from it. There are various conditions which need to be verified but you got to learn and stay in contact with the agents for some profits. They know how to turn paper into money.

hi, in a very simple words i would say Penny Stocks are any stock that trades below $5 per share. Most financial advisors and long-term investors tend to avoid them completely because of the extremely high risk that comes with owning them. They generally tend to fluctuate wildly in price, and although some report spectacular gains in a matter of a few days [or even hours], those who invest in them are generally surprised when they disappear altogether.
Generally, if a stock is trading that low, it is danger of losing its listing with an exchange. When this happens, a company is normally either in very bad financial shape, or on the brink of bankruptcy. Smart investors opt to avoid these.

This is also a kind of business and there are much risks involved as other businesses have. So a market analysis is required to maintain a steady profit move in trading in Penny stocks.
